About AIA Vitality

AIA Vitality is exclusive to AIA customers. You can apply for the membership if you hold personal insurance plans with AIA Singapore (all plans except Travel & Lifestyle insurance plans), either as a policyowner or an insured. Otherwise, you may apply for it when you take up an AIA Singapore insurance policy.
 
The minimum age for an AIA Vitality membership is sixteen (16) years old.

AIA Vitality membership is for a period of twelve (12) months and it starts from the date of activation. The membership will auto renew at the end of the period for another twelve (12) months. 

You can join AIA Vitality via the following ways:
  • Log in to your AIA+ app or click here to sign up (for existing AIA customers who have an AIA+ account); or
  • Speak with your AIA Financial Services Consultant (FSC) or Insurance Representative (IR).

AIA Vitality membership fee is at S$8 monthly, or S$96 annually, inclusive of 9% GST.

We recommend paying the fees via Credit Card for quicker activation of your membership account. 
 
Otherwise, here are the other payment options. Please allow up to three (3) working days for payment to be received by AIA if you are using any of the following options.
  • GIRO
  • AXS
  • Cheque
  • Internet Banking

Log in to AIA+ app to access your eCard anytime, anywhere. Your AIA Vitality Membership number is on your eCard which starts with V and followed by nine digits, for example VXXXXXXXXX.

We respect the privacy of our members. The information derived from your participation in AIA Vitality does not constitute disclosure of information for the purpose of an insurance policy contract between us and you. Any data that is derived or submitted to AIA Vitality is segregated from the data that you have disclosed as part of your insurance policy purchased from AIA. For more information, please review our Terms and Conditions.

Please submit your termination request at least one month before your membership renewal and it will be processed within fourteen (14) working days. 
 
Please note that:
  • Your membership will cease once the request is processed.
  • Regardless of your payment frequency, be it monthly or annual, if membership fees have already been deducted before the termination process is completed, it will not be refunded.
  • Any eVouchers and rewards not utilised will be forfeited and will not be replaced/reimbursed in any way.
  • Once the membership is terminated, all benefits will cease and you may be subject to the notice period and other terms and conditions as imposed by Partners, where applicable.
If you have set up a recurring membership fee payment, please contact your respective bank or credit card issuer to stop the arrangement. 

AIA Vitality Points & Status

You earn Vitality points for every healthier choice you make with AIA Vitality to improve your health, and these Vitality points will add up to level up your Vitality status. 
 
All AIA Vitality members start out in Bronze. As you accumulate Vitality points, your Vitality status will move from Bronze, to Silver, to Gold, and ultimately Platinum, the peak of AIA Vitality.
 
The higher your Vitality status, the greater your rewards.

Earn Vitality points by prioritising your health. The more Vitality points you earn, the higher your Vitality status and the greater the rewards you can enjoy. 
 
For new AIA Vitality members, we would recommend the following activities to start earning Vitality points:
 
  • Complete online health assessments in AIA+ app;
  • Link your fitness device/app to AIA+ app and clock steps or log a workout; and
  • Do a basic health screening and submit your health report to us. The health report should include readings of your body mass index, blood glucose, blood pressure and cholesterol.
 
There are many more ways to earn Vitality points, such as advanced health screening, dental assessment, fitness assessment and even HealthyFoodTM purchase. Check out the full list of Vitality points earning activities in your AIA+ app or refer to the Guide to Live Well with AIA Vitality.

You should always refer to the points statement in your AIA+ app to track your Vitality points earned. 
 
Activities such as submissions of health screenings, vaccinations, dental assessment, fitness assessment and nutrition assessment may take up to seven (7) working days for the Vitality points to be reflected on your points statement. 
 
If you have logged a workout, please note that you may not see an immediate update to your Vitality points. This is perfectly normal. However, if your Vitality points are still not reflected on the Vitality points statement after 48 hours, feel free to contact us at support@aiavitality.com.sg. We encourage you to log in to AIA+ app and sync all your workouts by the end of each week, i.e. by Sunday 23:59hr to ensure your workouts are captured and Vitality points/spins awarded.

There is a cap on the maximum Vitality points that you can earn for each category in a membership year. For example, you can earn up to 3,500 Vitality points for online health assessments, up to 10,000 Vitality points for basic health screening and up to 15,000 Vitality points for physical activity. Certain limitations, such as age and gender, may also apply to some activities such as pap smear or prostate screening.

The Vitality status that you achieved in the current membership year will carry forward into the next membership year. Your Vitality points will reset to zero and you'll restart your wellness journey to earn Vitality points again to either maintain or level up your Vitality status in the new membership year.
 
For example: 
  • Year 1 of membership — You earned at least 20,000 Vitality points and achieved Gold Vitality status. 
  • Year 2 of membership — Your Gold Vitality status remained while your Vitality points reset to zero. You'll have to earn at least 20,000 Vitality points again to maintain your Gold Vitality status.
o    If you earn more than 30,000 Vitality points in year 2, you'll level up to Platinum Vitality status immediately and it will carry forward to year 3 of membership.
 
o    If you only earn 15,000 Vitality points (i.e. less than the required 20,000 Vitality points to maintain Gold Vitality status), your Vitality status will drop to Silver in year 3 of the membership. 

Health Screenings, Vaccinations and Assessments

Your Vitality Age is calculated based on your responses to the AIA Vitality online health assessments, and it estimates the effect of your lifestyle on your life expectancy.
 
Your results from health screenings, and any other data provided by you or a verified source (such as information derived from your AIA Vitality Nutrition Assessment with a nutritionist, or your AIA Vitality Fitness Assessment from our partner gym) may also play a role in the calculation of your Vitality Age.
 
Your Vitality Age may be higher or lower than your actual age depending on whether your lifestyle is having a positive or negative effect on your overall health.

Simply submit your results, receipt or report via email to submissions@aiavitality.com.sg together with the following details to earn Vitality points. Please note to submit within three months of your assessment date to be eligible for Vitality points. 
 
  • Full name
  • AIA Vitality membership number
  • Date and type of health screening/vaccination/assessment submitted

Yes, you can. Please note that Vitality points are awarded based on assessment date and please submit your results, receipt or report within three months of your assessment date to be eligible for Vitality points. 

We will only award Vitality points for health screenings, dental assessments, nutrition assessments and vaccinations done in Singapore. 

You may visit your preferred clinics or healthcare provider for the health screening and/or vaccinations. To enjoy AIA Vitality rates, you may visit our partner clinics. 

The following healthy range is aligned with standards as may be applied by healthcare providers in Singapore. You may also refer to the Healthhub.sg for more information.

Only fitness assessments completed at our partner gyms, Fitness First and Virgin Active, are eligible for Vitality points. Singaporean National Servicemen who complete the Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT) can also submit their results to earn Vitality points.

Yes, you can if the health screening is recommended by your doctor. Please submit the results together with supporting document, for example the doctor memo, for verification to earn Vitality points.

Weekly Fitness Challenge and Team Challenge

You can earn a maximum of 150 Vitality points for physical activity in a day. 
 
To earn Vitality points for physical activity, you can sign up with an AIA Vitality partner gym and earn 100 Vitality points a day for gym visits. You can also clock your steps or log a workout with your fitness device/app to earn up to 150 Vitality points a day.
 
  • For steps: you can earn up to 50 Vitality points a day for minimum 10,000 steps.
  • For workouts: you can earn up to 150 Vitality points a day by tracking your heart rate or speed. 

You can log more than one physical activity a day, be it steps and/or workout or even partner gym visit, but only one activity with the highest Vitality points will be awarded for the day. 
 
For example
You visited a partner gym and went on the treadmill to do a 30-min run. With this run, you clocked more than 10,000 steps on your fitness device and at the same time, logged a workout of at least 80% heart rate.
 
Vitality points for the activities:
 
  • 30mins run with at least 80% heart rate: 150 Vitality points
  • Gym Visit: 100 Vitality points 0 Vitality point
  •  >10,000 steps: 50 Vitality points 0 Vitality point
 
As you can only earn Vitality points for one activity a day, hence out of the three activities, you will earn 150 Vitality points from the 30-min run as that's the activity with the highest Vitality points for the day.

While you no longer can accumulate Vitality points for this category, you can still earn your weekly reward when you complete the Weekly Fitness Challenge, so continue to stay active!

Yes, the spin will expire two (2) weeks from the date you received it. You can refer to the expiry date stated in the AIA+ app and spin it before it expires. Expired spin(s) will not be replaced. 

Yes, you can. However, do note that syncing of Vitality points may be based on the time zone that you are in. Therefore, when you return to Singapore, your step count may differ due to its realignment to SG time zone. Do check your phone and device setting as Vitality points will only be awarded based on time of syncing.

Yes, you can. Please submit relevant information such as the event details, your bib number and results via email to support@aiavitality.com.sg. We'll verify and award Vitality points based on the distance and type of the event.
 
Please note that Vitality points earned from participating in organised fitness events are categorised as physical activities and subject to the cap of 15,000 Vitality points in a membership year. Vitality points awarded for organized fitness events are not applicable for Weekly Fitness Challenge.

Fitness Devices and Device Booster Challenge

You can only earn Vitality points using fitness devices or apps that are compatible with AIA+ app.  

The AIA+ app does not support third-party devices and apps linked to Health app or S Health as it may cause incorrect fitness data to be synced to AIA Vitality.

We track and record steps from your Apple or Samsung Watch and the app separately. Please go to 'Device Management' on AIA+ app for the steps tracked from both the watch and the app.
 
Note that Vitality points will be awarded based on device specific and whichever device has the higher steps tracked.

*Please refer to the device specifications for the fitness data (such as heart rate, speed, steps and sleep) that it can track. For sleep, please check your fitness device/app tracks Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep.
 
AIA Vitality does not accept fitness data from other third-party devices linked to the above fitness apps or devices. AIA Vitality does not accept or award points for manual input of fitness data.

To participate, you must have:
 
(a) purchased a Fitbit, Garmin or Polar fitness device via your AIA Vitality account in AIA+ app within the last three (3) months, and 
 
(b) completed basic health screening and submitted results of all four (4) health metrics for Vitality points (Body Mass Index, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose and Cholesterol) in the last six (6) months or within the current membership year. 
 
Please ensure you activate the Device Booster Challenge within 3 months of purchasing the fitness device.

Purchases from physical store are not eligible to Device Booster Challenge. You must log into your AIA Vitality account on AIA+ app and complete the purchase of Fitbit, Garmin or Polar fitness device(s) via the respective links on the partner pages to qualify for Device Booster Challenge.  

All purchases of fitness devices via your AIA Vitality account will be tracked. Fitness Device(s) that may be eligible for the Device Booster Challenge will be listed before you activate the challenge. If there are more than one eligible fitness device, we will pre-select the fitness device with the higher/highest retail price so that you can earn the maximum rebate.

The rebate that you can earn is 50% of the retail price for the fitness device that you have purchased or 2,500 Vitality coins (S$125), whichever is lower. 
 
For example, you have purchased a fitness device via AIA+ app and the retail price (i.e. before the Vitality partner discount) is S$300. At 50% of the retail price will be S$150, hence the maximum rebate that you can enjoy with the Device Booster Challenge will be 2,500 Vitality coins (S$125).
 
If the retail price for the fitness device is S$200 (i.e. before the Vitality partner discount), 50% of the retail price will be S$100 and hence the maximum rebate that you can enjoy with the Device Booster Challenge will be 2,000 Vitality coins (i.e. S$100).

The 12 weeks of Device Booster Challenge rides on your Weekly Fitness Challenge. This means, by completing your Weekly Fitness Challenge, you are on the way to complete the Device Booster Challenge too, as simple as that! 

The rebate will be awarded in Vitality coins. The first rebate to be awarded upon completing 6 weeks of Weekly Fitness Challenge, and the balance will progressively be awarded in the remaining weeks as you continue to complete the Weekly Fitness Challenge. The progress can be tracked in AIA+ app when you activate the challenge. Do monitor your completions of the Weekly Fitness Challenge so that you don't miss out on the rebate.

When the challenge is activated, the 12-week progress will be tracked. You will not be able to quit, stop or restart the challenge. You will not be able to extend the challenge period as well. Do monitor your progress via AIA+ app so that you don't miss out on the rebate.

Sleep Tracking

You can earn 5 Vitality points for qualified sleep data, per day and a maximum of 1,000 Vitality points per membership year.

Qualified sleep refers to a minimum 7 hours of sleep with at least 1 minute's worth of Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep, characterised by rapid eye movements, bodily movement, and faster pulse and breathing.

Please ensure that you have completed the "How well are you sleeping?" online health assessment and link your AIA+ app to a supported fitness device. Please check your fitness device/app specifications to ensure that it tracks Rapid Eye Movement (REM) sleep.

Partner Benefits

AIA Vitality has partnered with some of the most inspiring brands to reward you for making the commitment to improving your health. The more effort you put towards living a wholesome lifestyle, the greater the rewards you reap. Refer to AIA Vitality website or the AIA+ app for the full list of partner rewards and benefits. 

Please ensure that you integrate the eligible AIA insurance plan/rider with AIA Vitality at the point of insurance purchase. You must have a valid AIA Vitality membership and be the insured of the eligible insurance purchased. 

What happens if I have to cancel my travel bookings?
You will need to contact our travel partner directly. The partner's usual modification and cancellation charges will apply if you modify or cancel your booking. 
 
Please note that if you cancel your travel booking, it will still be considered as utilisation of your travel benefit allotments.
 
Is there a limit to the Royal Caribbean International Cruise Discount that an AIA Vitality member can enjoy in a membership year? 
 
All AIA Vitality members may enjoy one (1) cruise benefit with Royal Caribbean International per membership year.  

Will I be able to enjoy the travel benefit with Singapore Airlines if my flight booking was redeemed with air miles? 
 
No, you will not be able to enjoy rebate for flights which are fully/partially redeemed with air miles as the rebate is calculated based on Base Fare.
 
Does the rebate apply to all Singapore Airlines tickets?
 
The rebate will apply to Economy Class return tickets, including co-share flights, booked via the designated link from Singapore Airlines page on AIA+ app. 
 
Is there a limit to the Singapore Airlines travel benefits that an AIA Vitality member can enjoy in a membership year? 
 
All AIA Vitality members may enjoy one (1) flight benefit with Singapore Airlines per membership year.  
 
If the companion is also an AIA Vitality member, can he/she request to credit the 5% rebate into his/her in-app Wallet instead?
 
No. Should there be more than one (1) AIA Vitality member travelling on the same booking, only the AIA Vitality member who submits the documents (referred to as the main member) will receive the rebate in his/her in-app Wallet. 

How do I terminate my Fitness First / Virgin Active gym membership?
 
Simply proceed to any Fitness First / Virgin Active club reception to terminate your membership in person. One (1) full calendar months' notice is required for termination.
 
Please also note that if you are within your contract period, Fitness First / Virgin Active may charge you a cancellation/termination fee, paid directly to the club, as per the agreement made during your fitness club application.

How can I unlock the HealthyFood™ benefit?
 
Complete the basic health screening within the membership year to unlock your HealthyFood™ benefit. Please submit the health screening report with all four (4) results (i.e. BMI, Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose and Cholesterol) via email at submissions@aiavitality.com.sg, and the HealthyFood™ benefit will be unlocked and available to you from the date of basic health screening for a period of twelve (12) months.
 
To continue enjoying the HealthyFood™ benefit, please note to complete a basic health screening every year and submit the results to us.

How do I earn Vitality coins to redeem rewards at the Vitality Marketplace? 
 
There are many ways to earn Vitality coins:
 
  • Complete your Weekly Fitness Challenge to get a spin on the Vitality wheel to earn Vitality coins;
  • Purchase HealthyFood™ and earn cashback in Vitality coins;
  • Participate in Team Challenge to earn Vitality coins (for Gold/Platinum team leaders only);
  • Participate in Device Booster Challenge to earn rebate in Vitality coins;
  • Complete the recommended challenges and qualify for the health improvement reward awarded in Vitality coins;
  • Level up to Platinum Vitality status and enjoy Platinum Bonus in Vitality coins;
  • Enjoy airfare rebate awarded in Vitality coins.
When will the Vitality coins expire?
 
The Vitality coins earned from Weekly Fitness Challenge, HealthyFood™ cashback, Team Challenge, Device Booster Challenge and recommended challenges will have a validity of at least two (2), up to three (3) calendar months, depending on the date earned. 
The Vitality coins earned from airfare rebates and Platinum Bonus will have a validity of at least six (6), up to seven (7) calendar months. 
 
When does my eVoucher(s) expire?
 
While majority of the eVouchers typically have a fourteen (14) days validity, there may also be varying expiry period, depending on the Vitality partner.  Please refer to the expiry date stated on the eVoucher(s) which can be found in the wallet in your AIA+ app. Please use the eVoucher(s) before it expires. Expired eVoucher(s) will not be replaced.

About AIA Vitality Starter

AIA Vitality Starter is a kick-starter version of the full AIA Vitality, which gives you access to a selected suite of partner rewards and benefits to support to know your health, improve your health and get rewarded along the way.

AIA Vitality Starter is only available on a campaign basis. 

As a kick-starter version, AIA Vitality Starter gives you access to only a selected suite of partner rewards and benefits. Check out the table below for a quick snapshot on the differences between the AIA Vitality and AIA Vitality Starter's suite of partner rewards and benefits. 
 
AIA Vitality Starter members will not earn Vitality points for visits to partner gyms, namely Fitness First and Virgin Active, however you may continue to clock physical activity points with a fitness device/app that's synced to AIA+ app. 
 
Please note that certain challenges may not be applicable to AIA Vitality Starter members too, and this include Team Challenge, Device Booster Challenge and other challenges which may be introduced from time to time.

Your AIA Vitality Starter account will cease. All rewards and/or Vitality coins earned but not utilised will also not be available. Hence, please use it before your AIA Vitality Starter period ends.

You may upgrade to AIA Vitality, subject to eligibility and a membership fee, anytime within the AIA Vitality Starter period. In doing so, your Vitality points earned from AIA Vitality Starter will be seamlessly ported over and you will continue to earn Vitality points to level up your Vitality Status. Any rewards, eVouchers and/or Vitality coins earned from AIA Vitality Starter and have not expired will also be brought over.

AIA Vitality is exclusive to AIA customers who have existing individual life, accident and/or health insurance policy with AIA Singapore.

Terms & Conditions

1. AIA Vitality Membership

To qualify as a member of AIA Vitality, the following conditions must be met:
 
  • Payment of the Annual Membership Fee;
  • You must be aged sixteen (16) and above as of your last birthday; and
  • You must be the policy owner of an AIA Singapore insurance policy or be insured under an AIA Singapore insurance policy.
 
The AIA Vitality member must be an individual and not a company or legal entity. Each individual is entitled to only one AIA Vitality membership.

If you are an existing AIA Vitality member and you subsequently join an Employer who has enrolled its employees, members or other individual representatives in AIA Vitality, any obligation to make future payments of the Annual Membership Fees will be switched to the Employer from the date your Employer informs us of the corporate AIA Vitality membership applying to you. Pro-rated refunds will be made for advance payment of the Annual Membership Fee.
 
If you leave an Employer who has paid for your AIA Vitality membership on your behalf or your Employer decides not to renew corporate AIA Vitality membership, your corporate AIA Vitality membership will be terminated and you will have ninety (90) days from the such date of termination, to continue as an individual retail AIA Vitality member by providing notice to us in writing, provided that you meet the eligibility conditions.

2. Conditions of Membership

You are responsible for and shall not be entitled to dispute any activities or transactions carried out using your AIA Vitality Membership Card or under your User Account, whether such activities or transactions are actually carried out or authorised by you, unless you had previously notified us of suspected or actual unauthorised use, loss or theft of your AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account. We are entitled, but not obliged, to treat all use of or access to your User Account, and any instructions, information, data, communications and transactions carried out or issued using your AIA Vitality Membership Card or under your User Account, as having been transmitted and validly issued by you, and you shall be bound by all such use and/or access.
 
User Account
 
By applying for and using the AIA Vitality Membership Card and User Account, you agree and undertake:
    a)  not to use the AIA Vitality Membership Card and User Account for any commercial, fraudulent or unlawful purposes or purposes which are deemed unacceptable by us or which are prohibited by the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions;
    b) to promptly notify us of any unauthorised use, loss or theft of your AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account;
    c) to keep your password secure;
    d) to change your password for your User Account immediately and notify us immediately and request a new password if you have reason to suspect that the security and/or confidentiality of your password for your User Account has been compromised;
    e) pay all fees relating to the use of your AIA Vitality Membership Card as we may prescribe from time to time; and
    f)  to only use your AIA Vitality Membership Card and User Account in accordance with the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions.
 
Your AIA Vitality Membership Card is and shall at all times remain our property and shall be surrendered to us immediately upon our request and may be repossessed by us at any time.
 
In relation to the AIA Vitality Membership Card and User Account, "loss of your AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account" may include a situation where you have lost or forgotten the log-in details and are unable to access and use your AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account, and "theft of your AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account" may include a situation where another entity or person has obtained unauthorized access to your AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account by way of theft of your log-in details or where your log-in details or the verification and security measures associated with access and use of the AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account have been compromised, hacked, bypassed or rendered ineffective in protecting your access and usage of the AIA Vitality Membership Card and/or User Account.
  
Physical Card Replacement
Please note that as part of our sustainability efforts, AIA Vitality no longer issues physical membership cards (since October 2018). Please use the AIA Vitality membership eCard found in the AIA Singapore's AIA+ mobile app.
 
Agreement to Terms and Conditions
By paying the Annual Membership Fee to AIA Singapore and participating in AIA Vitality, you confirm that you understand and accept the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions and any changes that we may make to the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions from time to time will apply to you.

3. Vitality Points

Vitality Points will be awarded to you in accordance with the terms and conditions as determined by AIA Singapore from time to time. It may take up to 14 days for your Vitality Points to be updated on your Vitality Points statement. We assume no control, responsibility or liability as to the awarding of or any delay in the awarding of Vitality Points or posting of transactions into your membership account by the respective Partners.
 
It is your responsibility to check that all Vitality Points are reflected accurately.
 
Any disputes in connection with or arising from the Vitality Points awarded must be notified to us as soon as possible and in any event, within 30 days from the date of activity in dispute by email: support@aiavitality.com.sg; or call the AIA Customer Care Hotline at 1800 248 8000. We may need you to provide us with supporting documents wherever applicable to assist us in settling any disputes. If we do not receive any notifications from you of any disputes or inaccuracies on your Vitality Points within the stipulated timeframe, your Vitality Points statement will be taken to be correct, final and binding on you. Our decision on any such dispute is final and conclusive.

You may not transfer Vitality Points, membership rights or rights to Benefits to another person.

4. Vitality Coins

You may earn Vitality Coins for completing certain activities or making certain purchases as may be set out on the AIA Vitality section of the AIA+ app, or as decided by AIA Singapore from time to time. The Vitality Coins that are awarded to you will be stored in your Wallet.

You may use the Vitality Coins to acquire vouchers for goods and services as may be displayed in the AIA Vitality section of the AIA+ app. The vouchers that have been acquired by you will be displayed in the Wallet of your account on the AIA Vitality section of the AIA+ app, and will expire on such dates as displayed on the vouchers.
 
The redemption of the goods and services using the vouchers are subject to the terms and conditions of the respective Partners and you agree and acknowledge that we shall not be responsible for or liable to you in respect of the goods and services that are redeemed through the vouchers, including but not limited to the quality, safety, fitness or condition of the goods and services.
 
Unused Vitality Coins will expire after certain prescribed periods as may be displayed within the AIA+ app. Vitality Coins with the earliest expiry date will be automatically used first for relevant transactions.
 
You must have an active AIA Vitality membership in order to earn and use Vitality Coins.
 
All Vitality Coins are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or benefit-in-kind, save as set out in this section 4.2.

5. Vitality Wheel

If you access and play the virtual Vitality Wheel in the AIA+ app that may be made available to you as part of AIA Vitality, please note that in addition to the other terms and conditions of these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, the terms and conditions in this section 5 will also apply to you.

The virtual Vitality Wheel is offered and administered by AIA Singapore Private Limited, with its registered address at 1 Robinson Road #13-00 AIA Tower Singapore 048542. The virtual Vitality Wheel is available from 1 May 2023 under the Gambling Control (Trade and Other Promotional Games and Lotteries — Class Licence) Order 2022.
 
Only members who have an active AIA Vitality membership will be eligible to earn Spins and play the virtual Vitality Wheel, when they complete their weekly fitness targets, certain tasks or who otherwise fulfil requirements for selected campaigns.
 
Your participation in Vitality Wheel indicates acceptance of these AIA Vitality Terms & Conditions.

You have to be an active AIA Vitality member in order to earn Spins and spin the virtual Vitality Wheel. You may earn Spins by completing weekly fitness challenges, certain tasks or otherwise fulfilling requirements for selected campaigns. The number of Spins that will be awarded for each of the tasks above will be as set out on our website and/or the AIA Vitality section of the AIA+ app from time to time.

You may spin the virtual Vitality Wheel after you have earned a Spin, and if that Spin has not expired, by tapping the "SPIN NOW" call-to-action button on the virtual wheel in your AIA+ app. The prizes to be won will be displayed on the virtual wheel, which will come to a stop randomly based on certain pre-set algorithms that have been audited and verified by a Certified Public Accountant to be a fair system, with logic put in place to ensure sure-win randomisation prize award to members. The pre-set algorithms mean there is an equal chance for the virtual wheel to come to a stop at each segment of the virtual wheel.
 
The prize you have won will appear in a pop-up display in the AIA+ app.
 
Any earned Spin(s) will expire 2 weeks after they are earned, or immediately upon the termination, suspension or deactivation of your AIA Vitality membership for whatsoever reason, whichever is earlier. Expired Spins will be deemed forfeited.

You may stand to win Vitality Coins or a "Surprise" prize (which includes various products, services and vouchers) for each spin of the virtual Vitality Wheel. The Vitality Coins and prizes you have won will appear in a pop-up notification in the same screen and will be immediately reflected in your Wallet for redemption.
 
Vitality Coins, which are a form of reward that can be earned as part of the AIA Vitality programme, can be exchanged for goods and services offered by the programme. The Vitality Coins and prizes that can be won by a member in each spin of the virtual Vitality Wheel, as well as their respective quantities and values, are as follows:

  • gym memberships (e.g. one-day passes);  
  • movie passes and tickets to movie showings, football games and events organised by AIA;  
  • gift cards; or  
  • vouchers. 

Vitality Coins and prizes won will be immediately reflected in members' Wallet in AIA+ app for immediate or future redemption. Vitality Coins won from the virtual Vitality Wheel has a validity of at least 2 months in members' Wallet and will expire if unused. Each prize won will have a stipulated expiry date, which will be clearly stated in members' Wallet. A Prize will be forfeited if not redeemed by the stipulated expiry date.
 
We reserve the rights at any time in our absolute discretion to cancel or modify the virtual Vitality Wheel or any part thereof, or substitute, withdraw or cancel any prize without prior notice and without having to disclose any reason therefor and without any payment or compensation whatsoever.
 
All prizes are non-transferable, non-refundable and non-exchangeable for cash, credit or benefit in-kind, save as set out section 4.2. The value of prizes is determined based on factors such as the retail price, and these values are subject to market changes such that the actual value may differ from the stated value, on the date the prize is won or redeemed.

Our decision on all matters relating to the virtual Vitality Wheel, including but not limited to the eligibility to participate and prizes won, is final, conclusive and binding on all members and winners, and we shall not be obliged to give any reasons or enter into any correspondence with any person(s) on such matters.
 
We reserve the right to vary the terms and conditions in this section 5 at any time at our absolute discretion without notice. In the event of any inconsistency between the terms and conditions in this section 5 with any other form of publicity collaterals relating to the virtual Vitality Wheel, the terms and conditions in this section 5 shall prevail.
 
Without prejudice to and in addition to the Marketing Consent (if any) given, you expressly and irrevocably permit and authorise us to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding your personal particulars to our officers, directors, employees, contractors, sub-contractors and AIA Financial Services Consultants, AIA Financial Advisers, AIA Insurance Representatives ("AIA Representatives") for the purposes of organising, promoting and conducting the virtual Vitality Wheel, and to enable any one of the AIA Representatives to contact and follow up with you as required.

6. Fees

Participation in AIA Vitality is subject to the payment of an Annual Membership Fee that we may determine from time to time. All Annual Membership Fees shall be payable to us on or before your Annual Membership Fee Due Date. If you enrolled in AIA Vitality under your Employer, the terms under this section 6.1 relating to payment of the Annual Membership Fee do not apply to you and additional payment terms as between you and your Employer may apply to you.
 
You may pay your Annual Membership Fee on an annual or monthly basis using payment methods approved by us. Each monthly payment is an instalment of the current year's Annual Membership Fee.
 
We reserve the right to change the Annual Membership Fee provided we send you reasonable notice in advance of any such change in Annual Membership Fee. If you are not satisfied with the changes, your sole recourse shall be to end your membership in accordance with the section 7. However, please note that you may still be subject to the notice period of certain Partners and to any other relevant terms and conditions of such Partners.
 
Subject to sections 7 and 8 and your continued eligibility to be an AIA Vitality member as set out in section 1.1, your AIA Vitality membership will be automatically renewed for a 12-month period on the membership anniversary date.
 
If we do not receive payment of your Annual Membership Fees by the end of the Grace Period, your AIA Vitality membership will be automatically terminated. Your AIA Vitality membership will continue to be in force during the Grace Period.
 
Annual Membership Fees are collected separately from your AIA Singapore insurance policy premiums.

The Annual Membership Fee is non-transferable and is non-refundable.

7. Ending of Membership

You may only terminate your AIA Vitality membership at the end of the Membership Year. You must provide us with 30 days prior written notice, sent to us at support@aiavitality.com.sg in order to terminate your AIA Vitality membership. However, please note that you may still be subject to the notice period of certain Partners and to any other relevant terms and conditions of such Partners.
 
Your AIA Vitality membership will be terminated if you are no longer the policy owner of an AIA Singapore insurance policy or insured under an AIA Singapore insurance policy. If your Employer informs us that corporate AIA Vitality membership no longer applies to you, your corporate AIA Vitality membership will be terminated but you may choose to continue as an individual retail AIA Vitality member by notifying us in accordance with section 1.2.
 
You may only retain any AIA Vitality Points and AIA Vitality Status you have earned if you pay your Annual Membership Fee within 90 days of your original AIA Vitality membership end date.
 
In the event that there are any unpaid sums owed to us or to any of our Partners in connection with your AIA Vitality membership, upon the termination of your AIA Vitality membership, we reserve the right to deduct any such unpaid sums from the AIA Vitality Partner Benefits or rewards that you may have earned.
 
Upon termination of your AIA Vitality membership, all vouchers, prizes and cashback you have earned will be forfeited. You will not be entitled to any refund of the Annual Membership Fee upon termination of your AIA Vitality membership.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate, suspend, cancel, deactivate, recall or revoke AIA Vitality (in whole or in part) at our sole and absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever with reasonable notice.
 
We further reserve the right to terminate, suspend or deactivate your participation in AIA Vitality (in whole or in part, including your access and right to utilise one or more of the Benefits under AIA Vitality), your transaction(s), AIA Vitality Membership Card, Vitality Points, Vitality Coins or Spins and/or forfeit the accumulated Vitality Points, Vitality Coins or Spins, at our sole and absolute discretion for any reason whatsoever without any prior notice or reasons including without limitation, if we detect any unusual, irregular, suspicious, fraudulent or unauthorised use or activity or any threatened or actual breach by you of the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions.

9. Other Important Information

The contract entered into between you and us is based on mutual trust. Where dishonesty or fraud (which includes exaggeration) is picked up, Benefits may not be awarded, your membership may be cancelled and the matter may be referred to the police. This membership may become invalid and we may take other action consistent with our legal rights.
 
If any claim is dishonest or fraudulent or if any dishonest or fraudulent means or devices are used by you, any member of your household or anyone acting on your or their behalf in relation to AIA Vitality, then all Benefits under AIA Vitality may be lost, your AIA Vitality membership may be cancelled and you may have to return to us any payments already made as a result of any dishonest or fraudulent actions.

The AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions herein and the Benefit rules are subject to change (including without limitation, modification, deletion or replacement thereof) from time to time at our sole and absolute discretion, by posting on our website at https://www.aia.com.sg/en/health-wellness/aia-vitality/faqs. We may elect, at our discretion, to provide notice of such changes to you through e-mail or through other means, but you remain responsible for checking for changed AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions regularly. If you are not satisfied with the changes, your sole recourse shall be to end your membership in accordance with section 7.
 
We reserve the right to add, remove or modify Partners, Benefits and the AIA Vitality Status and Vitality Points earning structure from time to time at our sole and absolute discretion.
 
We will give you reasonable notice of any removal of Partners and Benefits and changes to the Annual Membership Fees.

You have no legal relationship with us, other than being bound by the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions and consequently, when entitled to do so, to receive any Benefits.
 
Nothing herein shall be construed as a representation by us that AIA Vitality and/or AIA Vitality Membership Card is available for use in geographic areas or jurisdictions other than Singapore.
 
The AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions and the use of the AIA Vitality Membership Card shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
 
If for any reason, any provision or part of the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions is found to be void or unenforceable, such provision or part of the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions shall be deemed to be severed from AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions and the remainder of such provision or of the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, as the case may be, shall remain in full force and effect and may be enforced to the fullest extent possible.
 
A person or entity who is not a party to these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions shall have no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 of Singapore or other similar laws to enforce any of these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, regardless of whether such person or entity has been identified by name, as a member of a class or as answering a particular description.
 
In the event of your breach of these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, our failure to enforce these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions shall not constitute a waiver of these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, and such failure shall not affect the right later to enforce these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions. We would still be entitled to use our rights and remedies in any other situation where you breach these AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions.

The Benefits are not valid in conjunction with other promotions, discounts, offers, vouchers and/or coupons.
 
By using our Benefits, you acknowledge that you have read these terms and conditions, including the disclaimers below, and that you accept and will be bound by the terms hereof.
 
Your entitlement to, and enjoyment of, the Benefits is subject to the rules herein, the relevant Partners' Benefit terms and conditions and the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions. In the event of any conflict between the Partners' Benefit terms and conditions and the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
 
We make no representations or warranties, express or implied, of any kind with respect to any of our Partner services or advice nor do we assume any legal liability or responsibility for the completeness, accuracy, adequacy or currency of the contents of the Benefits. Any dispute about our Partners' services must be resolved directly with them. We shall not be liable for any loss, injury, claim or damage suffered or incurred as a result of our Partners' services.
 
By enrolling for the Partner Benefits, you acknowledge that you have read these rules, the relevant Partners' Benefit terms and conditions, the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, including the disclaimers below, and that you accept and will be bound by the terms hereof.
 
AIA Singapore is not an agent of any of the Partners or vice versa.
 
In the event of dispute, the decision of AIA Singapore or our Partners (as the case may be) shall be final.

We shall be entitled from time to time to contact you via electronic transmission (e.g. email), mail, SMS, MMS, telephone, fax or other means of communication (via any of your telephone numbers, whether registered in Singapore or otherwise) in respect of your membership and participation in AIA Vitality.
 
Any notice or other information to be given to you may be given by electronic transmission (e.g. email), mail, SMS, MMS, telephone, fax or other means of communication (by any of your telephone numbers, whether registered in Singapore or otherwise), at the address as may from time to time be notified by you to us in writing.

You hereby agree that any information provided by you for use of AIA Vitality is on a voluntary basis and is only for your membership and participation in AIA Vitality. You also agree that the information provided by you for your membership and participation in AIA Vitality does not constitute disclosure of information for the purposes of an insurance policy contract between us and you. You agree that AIA Singapore may collect, use or disclose your personal data for the purposes of your membership and participation in AIA Vitality, in accordance with our privacy policy set out in https://www.aia.com.sg/en/index/personal-data-policy.html.
 
Notwithstanding the information provided by you for the membership and participation in AIA Vitality, you are still obliged to disclose all relevant and material information in any proposal or claim form for the purchase of an insurance policy or claims under an insurance policy sold by us.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all express or implied warranties including, but not limited to, warranties of satisfactory quality, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
 
We shall not be liable for any damage or loss of any kind directly or indirectly arising from or in connection with AIA Vitality, any information, software, products, services or content obtained through AIA Vitality, or your dealings with third party service providers available through AIA Vitality.
 
Any third party links provided by us on any of our websites, communication channels and social media are provided for your convenience.
 
Their inclusion does not imply any approval or endorsement by us.
 
We have no control over the content of those sites and accept no responsibility or liability in respect of them.

In the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, unless the context otherwise requires, the headings are inserted for convenience only and shall not affect the construction of these terms and conditions.

Vitality Points
 
The Vitality points awarded to a member for doing certain healthy activities, health screenings, dental screenings, and or vaccines. Vitality Points add up to help the member achieve an AIA Vitality status.
 
Vitality Status
 
The status level on AIA Vitality that a member can achieve due to the number of Vitality points he/she may have earned. Status levels are Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Members start on Bronze and progress to Platinum as they earn Vitality Points while engaging in healthy activities.
 
Annual Membership Fee
 
The annual membership fee that must be paid to enjoy rights of membership on AIA Vitality, as may be set out on our website or otherwise notified to you from time to time.
 
Annual Membership Fee Due Date
 
Refers to the date when your Annual Membership Fee payment is due.
 
Benefits
 
The discounts, rewards, benefits, goods and/or services available to members through AIA Vitality.
 
Employer
 
A corporation or legal entity which has successfully purchased AIA Vitality membership for and on behalf of all or part of its employees, staff, members, or other individual representatives.
 
Grace Period
 
The extra 90 days that we give to you, from the Annual Membership Fee Due Date, for you to pay your fee.
 
Membership Year
 
The 12-month period starting from the date your AIA Vitality membership begins.
 
Partner
 
A retailer, or any other person, firm or corporation which has been contracted with us to provide Benefits to AIA Vitality members.
 
Partner Benefits
 
Discounts, rewards, benefits, goods and/or services available to members through AIA Vitality offered by our Partners.
 
You, your
 
An individual who has applied and been granted membership in AIA Vitality.
 
User Account
 
Your online account on the Vitality website: http:/www.aiavitality.com.sg and/or the AIA+ mobile application.
 
Vitality Wheel
 
The game offered to members to spin a virtual wheel on the AIA Vitality section of the AIA+ app to win prizes.
 
Vitality Coins
 
The coins awarded to a member for participating in certain activities, attaining goals or as a form of cashback for making certain purchases.
 
Wallet
 
The electronic wallet in a member's AIA Vitality account used to store vouchers and Vitality Coins awarded or acquired by the member.
 
Spin
 
The opportunity to play Vitality Wheel, which is awarded to a member for participating in certain activities.
