AIA Singapore would like to update our customers and the wider public regarding the upcoming adjustments to Integrated Shield Plan (IP) riders as announced by the Ministry of Health of Singapore (MOH) on 26 November 2025.
In line with the requirements from the Ministry of Health of Singapore (MOH) announced on 26 November 2025, all IP riders available for sale from 1 April 2026 will:
In line with the requirements from the Ministry of Health of Singapore (MOH) announced on 26 November 2025, all IP riders available for sale from 1 April 2026 will:
- No longer cover the minimum IP deductible amount (up to $3,500) of IP plans moving forward; and
- The minimum co-payment cap per policy year will increase from $3,000 to S$6,0001.
Policyholders who purchase existing AIA Max VitalHealth riders2 between 27 November 2025 and 31 March 2026 (both dates inclusive) will have their rider updated in accordance with MOH guidelines, no later than their first renewal from 1 April 2028.
